Terms of Service
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Shyft Stack (“Shyft Stack”, “we”, “us”), the maker of ShyftBoard. They apply to the ShyftBoard web app, the ShyftBoard Chrome extension and the ShyftBoard Windows app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you may do so.
1. Your account
You need an account to use the Service. Give accurate information, keep your password and any authenticator safe, and tell us at hello@shyftstack.com if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
2. Workspaces and roles
Content lives in workspaces. The owner of a workspace controls it: who is invited, what roles members have, which plan it is on, and whether it is exported or deleted. Admins act for the owner within the permissions the Service gives them. If you join someone else’s workspace, the owner decides what happens to the content you add there, including after you leave.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the boards, cards, comments, files and other material you or your team put into the Service (“Customer Content”). You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process and display Customer Content only to run, secure and improve the Service for you and as these terms or our Privacy Policy describe. You are responsible for having the right to use the Customer Content you add, and for keeping a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; the export in workspace settings exists for that.
4. Marketplace data and the Chrome extension
The extension imports an order from a marketplace such as Fiverr only when you click its icon while viewing that order. It does not run in the background, change marketplace pages or send messages. You are responsible for complying with the marketplace’s terms, for keeping buyer information confidential, and for using it only to deliver the order. Workspace owners choose which marketplace data is kept (for example messages, buyer names or prices). Marketplaces are independent of Shyft Stack; we do not control them and they may change in ways that stop an import from working.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or store content you have no right to;
- upload malware, or probe, scan or test the Service’s security without our written permission;
- access other people’s workspaces or data, or try to get around plan limits or access controls;
- overload the Service, scrape it, or use it to send spam;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties as a standalone product without our agreement.
We may suspend accounts or workspaces that put the Service, other customers or third parties at risk.
6. Plans, fees and changes
The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are charged per workspace at the prices on the pricing page or in an order you agree with us. Until online payment is available, upgrades are arranged with Shyft Stack and invoiced as agreed. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated. If a paid plan lapses, the workspace keeps working within the limits of the Free plan; nothing is deleted, but new boards, members or uploads beyond those limits are blocked. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice for the next billing period.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but it is provided without a guaranteed uptime unless we agree one in writing. We may change or remove features; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance. Support is available at hello@shyftstack.com.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Account settings. Owners can delete a workspace from its settings; it is kept for 30 days so it can be restored, then removed. We may end these terms or suspend the Service for you if you materially breach them and do not fix the breach after notice, or immediately where the law or the safety of the Service requires it. Sections 3, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.
9. Warranties and liability
Except as expressly stated in these terms, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data that a reasonable backup would have prevented. Our total liability arising from the Service in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us for it in that period, or USD 100 if you are on the Free plan. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You will cover our reasonable costs from third-party claims arising from Customer Content you had no right to use, or from your breach of section 4 or 5.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek urgent relief in any court that has jurisdiction.
